The People's Committee of Tuy An District issued Decision No. 03/2024/QĐ-UBND on August 27, 2024, regarding the issuance of regulations on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tuy An District. 

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the district is a specialized agency under the district People's Committee; it advises and assists the district People's Committee in performing state management functions at the local level regarding agriculture, forestry, irrigation, aquaculture, disaster prevention and control, quality and safety of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, rural development, household economic development, rural farm economy, cooperative economy in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries associated with crafts and traditional trades in rural areas, and carries out certain tasks and powers as authorized by the district People's Committee and in accordance with the law. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the district has legal status, its own seal, and separate accounts; it is subject to the direction and management of the district People's Committee as prescribed by law; at the same time, it is under the direction and guidance.
